Atlantic Salmon in Lake Ontario

Recent research suggest that the Atlantic Salmon are trying to make a comeback in Lake Ontario which are native to the lake. This is great news for a fishery that collapsed several years ago. While they have been stocking the Atlantic Salmon for years, it appears that they are now reproducing again in the wild. The walleye have really taken off in Lake Ontario over the past few years. Hopefully it will become a world class fishery again!
